Visa - Important Notice

Please be advised that the Australian government no longer provides visa services in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All visa applications are now processed at the Australian High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, (phone: +27 12 423 6000). Phone enquiries can be made between 08.30 – 15.30 hrs Pretoria time. E-mail enquiries can be sent to: pretoria.nigeria@dfat.gov.au.

All enquiries need to be directed to Pretoria as the Australian High Commission in the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not have any staff trained in immigration or visa issues.

Visa application forms can be collected from DHL offices in Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt, or can be downloaded from the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs website. All information about immigration and visas also can be found on this website.

All visa applications must be lodged and paid for through one of the following DHL offices as they are the only ones which have the appropriate information and systems in place for sending the applications to Pretoria.
